refers to that emails though does not send because of email address
is not in use or unavailable at the time the email was send. Bounce
can happened because of the changes in IPS, change of job etc,Bounce
are unavoidable in bulk mail mailing.

There
are Two types of Bounce rate in email marketing:
Hard and soft bounces- Hard bounce are those that indicate permanent errors in recipient's email (e.g. the email address doesn't exist any more).
Soft
bounce is temporary error in the email address and this type of
errors can be resolvable (e.g. the recipients mailbox is full).
There
are few tips to keep your bounce rate low:
- Valuable content :The simple way to reduce bounce rate is display valuable and related content on the email. the main reason is visitor should be bound to click because of informative or attractive stuff. The logic is same more clicks on the link will get more business to the company .
- Do E-Mail at least once per month: There is one more effective method to improve the relationship with your subscribers, especially who have just signed up.
- Try to provide offer & newsletter : Give offers & newsletter to your those recipients who missed mail because of any reasons.
- Try to use good images: Always use good images it will give the attention of your visitors. it is essential to keep them interested on your site. If you include a descriptive image in each of your email, It will give you very good impact on your email campaign.
- Make your website load faster:The loading time of your website is very important factor. According to market research that the most user would not wait for website that took 4 seconds or more to load. so try to improve your website load time.
- Layout should be easy :The newsletter or email layout should be easy & interactive and the link on the your home page should be highlighted, and make sure your website layout should be professional and inviting to people for those who are vising first time. Try to include suggestion & complaints page so if the user face any problem in the website it can be resolve easily.

I think best way to reduce bounce rate on mass emailing is to focus on target audience rather than sending mail randomly.
